CHASSIS
The REWACO HS4 RF1 Trikes Chassis is a unique Carbon Fibre Composite Monocoque Design. Manufactured from aerospace grade carbon fibre, our chassis is a world leader. Weighing less than 30kg complete it provides most of the trikes class beating rigidity and strength. The front and rear suspension components are both mounted directly to the Monocoque structure. Race-bred de Dion Suspension with coil over Bilstein Gas Shock Absorbers at each corner.
Carbon fibre composite chassiss are typically reserved for the highest quality exotic sports cars. Carbon fibre offers performance levels that leaves steel and aluminum well behind. Whilst more expensive to produce, carbon fibre composites are a class beating material that allows our trikes to have the lowest on-road weight of its class. We have embraced composites into our design methodologies, we are the only mass production motorcycle/trike manufacturer to produce our chassis from carbon fibre composites.
The engine is positioned almost directly over the contact patches of the two rear tyres, with the engine sitting mid-mounted in the trike chassis allowing the rider to position the trike accurately and predictably. The Engine and power train package has been positioned lower and more central than ever before. With more of the trikes mass at its centre rather than at the rear (as seen on previous models) the polar moment of inertial is reduced producing perfect balance and lightening quick cornering.
The REWACO HS4 RF1 embodies and offers technologies never seen in a highway cruising trike. Indeed, the Rewaco HS4 RF1 offers performance and technology that far exceeds others! Rewaco has put the HS4 RF1 firmly at the top, setting the benchmark all other strive achieve.
The REWACO HS4 RF1 and REWACO HS5 RF1 Trike Chassiss are constructed from carbon fibre composite components manufactured using the companys our own proprietary CARBONFORGE process. The CARBONFORGE process allows the company to manufacture multiple components quickly and efficiently without the expense of using an Autoclave. CARBONFORGE is an out-of-autoclave technology that uses heat, pressure, vacuum and vibration to field carbon fibre composites that have strength and working properties on par with Autoclave produced composites.

The engine is cutting edge and very , modern design. Abundant torque is available throughout the 6,000rpm rev range. The Rewaco Engine and Gearbox package is guaranteed to deliver maximum driving enjoyment around town and serious exhilaration on the open road. The Rewaco Trike Rider doesn't have to choose between power and efficiency, they can have both.

The 5-Speed automated manual transmission (AMT) provide for fast gear shifting than a tradition manual transmission, coupled with ON DEMAND Fully Automatic Transmission Mode you have the best of both worlds. Press button shifting is on demand, located on the left side of the handle bar. Choose from Automatic when you are cruising and Sports Mode when you want to explore the road and hold the gears longer. The Rewaco HS4 RF1 and Rewaco HS5 RF1 offers a user friendly automatic gear program which does away with the need to use a clutch pedal. The automated manual transmission combines the mechanical efficiency of the manual transmission with convenience and sportiness by supporting clutch operation and gear shifting electronically.
